Tonya is a passionate dog trainer at Sit Means Sit. She moved with her husband and son to West Monroe in 2016, where they share their lives with two happy dogs. A Yorkie Poo named Lucky and a terrier mix affectionately known as Whiz, short for Wizard.

Having always had pets in the house since childhood, the constant presence in Tonya’s life has been dogs. She has always been passionate about painting animals and people, and she feels grateful to now have the chance to help both dogs and their owners in a meaningful way. Joining the Sit Means Sit family has been a blessing, allowing her to work with the animals she has deeply loved throughout her life. At Sit Means Sit, Tonya combines her love for dogs with a heartfelt commitment to training, ensuring that every furry friend leaves with wagging tails and happy owners.
